The long-awaited v1.1 update to Duke Nukem 3D is available at the iTunes App store. If you encounter any issues, please let me know ASAP and include the SoftRAID log.' Instead of waiting for Apple to release a fix for this bug, we have added code to the SoftRAID driver to prevent this bug from occurring. We have reported this bug to Apple and their engineers are investigating it. SoftRAID 4.0b10 did not resolve all of the kernel panics with Snow Leopard.ДЇurther investigation showed that these kernel panics were due to a bug in the Snow Leopard kernel. This release fixes all known issues with Snow Leopard. SoftRAID 4.0b11 (workaround for SL Kernel Bug causing KP's)ДЇYI to SoftRAID beta testers and of interest to other SL/RAID users perhaps (although no real details on the bug - and I assume not fixed in 10.6.1 but wrote to ask). 3rd news page, there's a long thread in the Apple forums on RAID1 kernel panics (not tied to any specific controller) titled 'Kernel Panic Whenever RAID Array is Connected'.
